# WiFi 电子门牌使用与部署说明

## Critical setup facts

1. The doorplate uses 2.4 GHz WiFi. The selected network must be able to access the public Internet.
2. Even if the provisioning page already shows a default URL, verify and enter this complete value:
   http://boeiot.online:7007/api/wifi/report
3. Device Port is 7007.
4. If WiFi scanning does not find the target network, manually enter the exact WiFi SSID.
5. Device Name is not required.
6. If the WiFi has no password, the manufacturer manual says to enter 0 in the password field.

## Provisioning procedure

- Hold the side button for more than 5 seconds until the red LED flashes.
- On a phone, connect to the doorplate hotspot named like E_DC_XX.
- Select or manually enter the 2.4 GHz WiFi SSID and enter its password.
- Enter Device Port 7007 and URL http://boeiot.online:7007/api/wifi/report.
- Press Connect.
- Success is indicated by a screen refresh and a provisioning-success image. The device remembers the configuration.

## Manufacturer platform

- Add a WiFi device under device management using its name and MAC address.
- A successful device report should normally appear within five minutes. A short button press can trigger a faster report.
- Refresh content by creating a task, choosing a template matching the physical screen size, selecting the device, editing content and refreshing.
- The system includes a default 7.4-inch template. Other sizes may require a new matching template.

## Confirmed hardware specifications

- Screen sizes: 7.4, 9.7 and 12.2 inches.
- Communication: WiFi 2.4G.
- Listed resolutions: 800x480, 960x672 and 960x768.
- Display: black, white and red tri-color bistable electronic ink.
- Viewing angle: greater than 178 degrees.
- Power: rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

## Development boundary

The manual says network settings can be changed for self-developed systems, but this manual does not define the device/server protocol, image payload format, report fields or refresh acknowledgement. Obtain the separate technical integration document and verify with a physical device before implementing camera, access-control or OA-triggered automatic refresh.
